Seventeenth century; it is accepted as a period in which the Ottoman Empire started to decline in political, economic and social terms. However, this situation; it does not apply to the field of art and literature. Especially Classical Turkish Literature continued its rise that it started in the previous periods; It continued its existence with successful examples in terms of content and form. Many poets were brought up in this period. One of these poets is Neshati. It is thought that Neshati, whose real name was Ahmet, was from Edirne and was born at the beginning of the seventeenth century. He started to learn the sciences of his period at an early age and wrote poems with various pseudonyms. For a period he served as the Mevlevihane postnishin. He taught many poets and was effective in their training. The famous trend of its time was influenced by the Indian Style and he was one of the important representatives of the trend. He drew attention with his solid language, short and concise expression in his poems. Neshati, who has many poems, is said to be successful especially in the field of lyric poetry. In this study, the lyric of Neshati's "tâb" redif will be annotated. In addition, other lyrics on his Divan will be scanned. It will be determined whether similar phrases and meanings in the examined lyric exist in other lyrics. Thus, the idea of the world of meaning established by the poet in his lyrics will be obtained.
