Abstract

Türkiye’deki eğitim fakültelerinde yer alan Türkçe Eğitimi Ana Bilim Dallarında da 3 kredilik Dünya Edebiyatı dersi yer almaktadır. Aynı zamanda, İlköğretim Türkçe Dersi (1-8 Sınıflar) Öğretim Programı’nın temel amaçlarından biri, “Türk ve dünya kültür ve sanatına ait eserler aracılığıyla millî ve evrensel değerleri tanımalarını sağlamak (MEB, 2016, s. 5)” olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Dolayısıyla Türkçe öğretmenleri, dünya edebiyatını tanımak ve hedef kitleye tanıtmakla mükelleftirler. Buradan hareketle çalışmanın amacı, lisans eğitimleri esnasında “Dünya Edebiyatı” dersini almış olan Türkçe öğretmeni adaylarının dünya edebiyatı kavramına yönelik metaforik algılarını tespit etmektir. Çalışmanın verileri mecazlar aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Çalışma grubunu, Edmodo isimli eğitim materyali paylaşım sitesinde araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan “Dünya Edebiyatı” grubuna üye 335 katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcıların dünya edebiyatı kavramıyla ilgili görüşlerini almak için dört açık uçlu sorudan oluşan ve Google Forms aracılığıyla katılımcılara sunulan çevrim içi görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Formlardan elde edilen nitel veri analizi sonuçları nicelleştirilerek rakam ve anahtar kelimelerin birbirlerini temsil etmeleri sağlanmıştır.
